Sacramento Blogger Offers More Than Style Tips

Posted on 26 June 2015 by David

classically claire fashion bloggerClassically Claire is an innovative women’s fashion blog that features the most modern women’s fashion trends. The blog’s creator and main writer, Claire Warner, is a Sacramento, California resident with a penchant for bright colors, fun floral accents, and sparkling costume jewelry that results in a sunny and carefree–yet pulled together final look.  The blog truly embodies the relaxed California style!  Warner, who began her career in interior and home design, discovered relatively early on that her true passion was in apparel design and styling—which, unsurprisingly, became the driving force behind the popular blog.

Aside from traditional style tips and tricks, Classically Claire also offers a “shop” section where the writer often features gift ideas and suggestions for the upcoming holiday (Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas, etc.) as well as products and retailers currently hocking the season’s most attractive hand bags, sunglasses, seasonal essentials, and drool worthy desk additions aimed to spice up even the blandest of office environments.  A personal favorite is the Coachella Cravings section, which aimed to outfit April’s music festival goers with the latest threads and sun safety accessories. My favorite items included the bo ho chic wide brimmed hat and retro inspired cat eye sunglasses to ward off the heat-of-the-day rays. I also appreciate the addition of a bright pink water bottle as a means for fashionable hydration while in the Southern California desert.

Another prominent component of Classically Claire is the professional, high resolution photos featured within this fashion blog for women. These are a favorite among readers, as typically each post contains multiple photos of the featured style or item at varied angles and perspectives. This is a great way for readers to obtain ideas for mimicking the style or better understand the craftsmanship, quality or fabric blends used throughout. Photos also tend to hone in on accessories that are paired with the innovative couture. I am sure we all realize that the perfectly selected pair of kitten heels, pop of bright color, or jewelry aimed to elevate the right outfit, has the ability to take a look from a middle of the road five to an impressive ten.

Claire is great at featuring these additions! Classically Claire also does a great job of introducing what were once considered un-pair able colors and patterns. One of my favorite posts features ideas for combining striped and plaid. (Who would have thought, but somehow it works!) Learning that a simplistic, tight flannel plaid pattern works best with a pin stripe bottom is such a fresh take on something retro. As mentioned above, adding the right accessories—in this case I gravitate to the suggested brown leather wrap bracelets, a chunky gold watch and perfectly worn-in ankle boots—serve as the ideal finishing touch.

Clair also seems to live by the rule that you can easily elevate any piece—effortlessly transition from day to night worth attire. Her suggestions apply to real world girls, and offer a fresh, creative take on the most popular clothing and accessory options on the market. See a Performance that Will Blow You Away

Posted on 24 October 2013 by David

Do you have any idea how many people love a female rock singer who can really rock like nobody’s business? Thousands go to concerts each year to see rock singers who can deliver. One that is sure to please is Tracy Underwood, also known as Super T. She has it all – vocals, expert instrumentation and a great appearance. She will slam you to the floor with her metal rock. She has the gumption needed to push forward her sound in a unique way, one you won’t forget. Nobody does it like Super T, and she will be the first one to tell you that.

A real plus about Tracy Underwood is that she understands her audience and what they want. And not only does she understand, but she can GIVE her audience what it wants. She never disappoints. You can find her song Never Enough on SoundCloud and listen to a very funky beat with a sort of southern flavor in the guitar and hot, hot, hot hooks throughout. Find more of her music on iTunes, Amazon, Napster and EMusic. Just everywhere – and all dynamite tunes that you will listen to over and over again. The music picks you up and takes you to another universe in another dimension. Never will you be the same again.

Someone said Super T had 32 music personalities. I think it is more! I mean, she is an ever-changing litany of musical personas. Take in show after show and never will she be the same in any one event. I wouldn’t be surprised to see teens copying her dress styles on the street any day now. Attractive and funky, like her music! A real treat to feast the eyes on is our girl Tracy Underwood. She has charisma and charm, but is wild and daring. Do these things go together? You bet – at least in Super T. You can mix and match so many diverse personalities and still not fully nail Tracy Underwood’s (Super T’s) full grace and reality. Another universe? Yes, this is where you are! Out beyond the stars.

5 Important Rules in Website Design

Posted on 13 March 2013 by David

When it comes to your website, extra attention should be paid to every minute detail to make sure it performs optimally to serve its purpose. Here are seven important rules of thumb to observe to make sure your website performs well.

1) Do not use splash pages

Splash pages are the first pages you see when you arrive at a website. They normally have a very beautiful image with words like “welcome” or “click here to enter”. In fact, they are just that — pretty vases with no real purpose. Do not let your visitors have a reason to click on the “back” button! Give them the value of your site up front without the splash page.

2) Do not use excessive banner advertisements

Even the least net savvy people have trained themselves to ignore banner advertisements so you will be wasting valuable website real estate. Instead, provide more valueable content and weave relevant affiliate links into your content, and let your visitors feel that they want to buy instead of being pushed to buy.

3) Have a simple and clear navigation

You have to provide a simple and very straightforward navigation menu so that even a young child will know how to use it. Stay away from complicated Flash based menus or multi-tiered dropdown menus. If your visitors don’t know how to navigate, they will leave your site.

4) Have a clear indication of where the user is

When visitors are deeply engrossed in browsing your site, you will want to make sure they know which part of the site they are in at that moment. That way, they will be able to browse relevant information or navigate to any section of the site easily. Don’t confuse your visitors because confusion means “abandon ship”!

5) Avoid using audio on your site

If your visitor is going to stay a long time at your site, reading your content, you will want to make sure they’re not annoyed by some audio looping on and on on your website. If you insist on adding audio, make sure they have some control over it — volume or muting controls would work fine.

Exposure to Molds can be Dangerous

Posted on 13 March 2013 by David

photoWhen you are concerned about molds growing in your home, you want to take action and not just go into denial. Molds can release toxic spores, which when inhaled can cause allergic reactions. The toxins in the spores can actually cause illness, and often do when someone’s immune system is compromised. Molds can grow inside the home or outside, but it is the ones that are inside growing in damp places that can create adverse health effects. This is because you are in your home much of the time and the spores just circulate in the indoor air.

Of course, even outdoors you will notice how mold can affect you. For instance, if you are just raking up some moldy leaves, you can get the symptoms of flushed and itchy skin, eyes watering, and headaches. All this is temporary, however. Once you are done and go indoors or to another location, all the symptoms gradually disappear.

Some people react to molds by only getting itchy eyes and sneezing a lot. Others actually experience respiratory problems. Other symptoms of mold exposure can be memory loss, blindness or other eye damage and severe lung troubles. Some have said that cancer can result from exposure. Most of these more severe symptoms come from long-term exposure.

But that is exactly what happens when major amounts of mold and fungi are growing inside the structure of a house. The indoor air quality is bad, and exposure goes on and on unless you do something about it. The best way to handle any suspicion of mold in your home is to call a mold remediation company for help. Companies such as the popular one in San Francisco, All City Mold Removal Company, will do an inspection and any mold remediation necessary.

During inspection they will check all the hidden areas of the home for mold growth, such as in the basement behind walls, in the attic where the roof may have leaked and in damp rooms such as the kitchen or laundry spaces. It is important to have a professional do any remediation when the area covered is a large one, because just cleaning up the mold can release spores unless you are very careful.
